You Capture - Lines

*Sorry this is a day late. I completely forgot about You Capture. I did take this one picture this weekend with You Capture in mind and it would be a shame to waste it.

Weekend Recap & You Capture

I don't know about you, but my weekend was exhausting.

We started the (longer than planned) process of painting our house this weekend.

I don't have much for a weekend recap because that is basically all we did.

We had a chance to go to a NASCAR race, but we couldn't because we had to much work to do on the house. ( We have never watched NASCAR, but I think it would have been fun to try something new.)

We were supposed to go to the mall so I could visit the Lush store and restock some of my products that I've used up...but I never got the chance.

The one thing I did accomplish was getting my camera out and taking some pictures of "sunshine" for You Capture.

Of course, I didn't think about it until Sunday and it was cloudy all day. So, I just had my camera around my neck while I worked outside and every once in awhile the sun would peek out for a few seconds and I would try to get a decent shot.

The sun also came out while I was trying to get a picture of the tree in our front yard.

You Capture: Fall

This was an easy You Capture.

Fall is my favorite time of the year.

I love when the leaves change color.

You Capture: Cute

This week's You Capture was difficult for me. (I feel like I'm always saying that.)

I just could not think of anything to take a picture of that was "cute".

I did take some picture of my nephew this week and he is definitely cute, but I don't like to put up pictures of other people's kids without their permission.

(By the way, totally jealous of all you bloggers who do have kids. This week must have been an easy one for you.)

Anyways, these pictures are of the mug on my desk that hold my pens. I know it can't compete with babies, but I bought it because I thought it was cute. It's all I got.

 

 Also, my Mickey Mouse shaped pen is kind of cute, right?

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's cute pictures.

You Capture: Fall, Family, Fresh

It's been awhile since I participated in You Capture, but I'm hoping to make a comeback.

Given the amount of time we had to work on this assignment, I'm a little embarrassed by how little I have to show for it.

I pulled these off of my phone earlier today.

 

I don't have any pictures for family, just fall and fresh.

The rest of these pictures are ones that I have already posted before, but I'm going to post them again because they were taken after the theme was assigned.

I threw that last one in there because for me, the fall also means that it is time to start planning for NaNoWriMo.

That's exactly what I have been trying to do this week, which might be a reason for the lack of any new pictures.

You Capture: Red

The theme for You Capture this week was red, although with all the snow we got, I'm thinking it should have been white.

I got so distracted by the storm that I forgot about You Capture until this morning...and that is when I took these pictures.

You Capture: Happy

The theme for You Capture this week was happy. I wish I would have had a little more time and inspiration this week, but I didn't.

I did manage to take a few pictures this week, so I am HAPPY about that.

You Capture: Circles

This weeks on You Capture our theme was circles.

I'm still pretty new to You Capture and I seem to have a problem with waiting until the last minute to get my pictures. Luckily, this week was pretty easy because there are circles everywhere.

You Capture: Doorways

I wasn't feeling very inspired this week.

I almost skipped this You Capture, but decided against it. 

It was too cold to go outside, so I had to make do with what I could find in my own house.

It's not much, but this is definitely my favorite door because when I see it, I know that I'm home.

Since I recently got a new computer, I have not been able to move all of my pictures over yet.
