14/365 No, I don't hate clean dishes, or even just dishes in general. What I do hate is washing dishes. That is what I just finished doing. Some people dream of having a bigger house or nicer car, but I dream of owning a dishwasher. (of course, I would need a bigger house in order to have room for one, but that's not the point.)
I feel like I kinda slacked off on those pictures in my last post, but I feel that I have a pretty good reason...which I will tell you now.
Last Thursday morning I had a little accident that resulted in me busting my lip open. Luckily, my husband hadn't left for work yet becasuse he was shoveling the driveway. He took me to the Urgent Care center and I got 3 stitches on my bottom lip.
I'm feeling better now. I went to the doctor today and he said it was healing nicely. I have to go back Friday for him to check on them, but then I should be done. I am hoping to get back on track with my pictures now that I am feeling better.
It is snowing again. I am afraid that until the weather warms up my pictures are going to be rather boring. I did not even go outside to take this picture, I just shot it through the blinds. The whole time I was just hoping my neighbors didn't notice. They might think it was weird.
*Fun Fact: I had to look up the word weird to make sure I was spelling it right. I'm still not sure.
This should come as no surprise, but I have kind of fallen behind on my picture project. It is only the 5th day!! Hopefully this is not a sign of how the rest of the year is going to go. Anyways, in order to get caught up I just took 3 pictures today so that I could get caught up. I know that this is technically cheating, but I am new to this so I am cutting myself some slack.
3/365 I went grocery shopping last night and actually remembered to bring my own bags. I usually forget about them, so I am happy that I remembered them. I even saved 20 cents by using my own bags because target takes off 5 cents for every bag you bring. It is not much, but it is a start.
Speaking of cheating, I love cooking in my crockpot. Dinner gets made and I really don't have to do anything. It is wonderful!
Today I took down my tree. It is always a bit sad because I love the color it adds to the room. Now I just have an empty corner to stare at which is not nearly as pretty.
That is all for today. Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with another picture.
I knew months ago that when the new year came around that I wanted to try something new. I also knew that I wanted to work on my photography, so this year I am going to be taking a picture everyday for the whole year. I plan on posting all of those pictures on this blog, although I may not get to post all of them on the day that I take them.
That is why I have 2 pictures today. I did not have time to post yesterday's picture, so here are the first 2 pictures of the year.
1/365 These are extra christmas crackers that were left over from our christmas party.
